The Contemporary is thrilled to present the 3rd Annual City-Wide Open Studios, a week-long event dedicated to the discovery of artists’ private work spaces. Free and open to the public, this event offers a unique opportunity to explore the studios of local artists and enjoy one of the most exciting aspects of contemporary art—the chance to discuss art with the artists themselves. Last year, more than 90 artists invited the public into their studios in St. Louis City, University City, and Maplewood—some of St. Louis’s most diverse and vibrant neighborhoods. Please join us for the rare opportunity to experience local artists in their most creative spaces.

ABOUT THE CONTEMPORARY

The leading center for contemporary art, the Contemporary Art Museum St. Louis is a non-collecting institution located in the heart of St. Louis’ cultural district. Designed by Brad Cloepfil of Allied Works Architecture, the museum shares a courtyard with the Pulitzer Foundation for the Arts, designed by Tadao Ando.
